The kitchen measure or measuring cup is used to portion out cooking and baking ingredients such as flour, sugar, milk, water and other cold or hot liquids. Two scales on the inside of the kitchen measure or measuring cup show one liter in centiliter jumps or in ¼ or 1/8 liter (depending on the size of the kitchen measure), this is the traditional Austrian unit of measurement for liquids.
The measuring cup has a comfortable side handle as well as a spout, called a beak, which makes it easy to pour out liquids. The edge of the kitchen measure is curved - in the enamel language this is called a beaded edge
The material enamel consists of iron that has been fused with glass at high temperatures, i.e. from natural raw materials.
Our enamel cookware can be used on all types of stoves (gas, electric, glass ceramic, induction and even over an open fire). Thanks to the iron core, the heat is conducted quickly and then stored: for sustainable, energy-saving cooking.
The non-porous, smooth glass surface guarantees perfect hygiene. This is aroma-neutral and bacteria-inhibiting and also easy to clean. When used and cared for properly, enamel crockery will last for a long time and retain its typical shine.
Tip
The enamel measuring cup can be used to heat precisely measured liquids such as milk (or water) for the yeast dough or soup for risotto. However, it should be cooked on a low flame because the diameter of the base is very small. When heating milk, add some water beforehand to prevent burning
